Dewalt Tools

DEWALT® designs and optimizes professional workhorse solutions – tools, accessories and service – to ensure confidence for the toughest jobsite conditions.

When it comes to power tools, you should look for high-quality craftsmanship and dependability—DeWalt is a brand that’s long been associated with those great qualities, which is why their tools are preferred by professionals and DIYers alike and it’s likely that won’t be changing any time soon.

DeWalt manufactures thousands of tools, and their products are used across numerous industries. Specifically, they manufacture cordless power tools, corded power tools, landscaping equipment, storage solutions, accessories, and much more.

We’ve been using DeWalt tools for over 20 years! We got our first cordless drill many years ago and have never been disappointed. DeWalt has led the industry in brand awareness. Yellow-and-black had significant recognition as the premier Pro-level tool brand for general construction. And if you go to any big box hardware store, you’ll find the yellow and black tools everywhere. DeWalt manufactures thousands of tools – cordless power tools, corded power tools, landscaping equipment, storage solutions, accessories, and much more –  and their products are used across numerous trades.

DeWalt drills are well-renowned for their performance thanks to their brushless motors, and their impact drivers are also highly popular. Mostof the company’s most sought-after products are their cordless tools. These tools are either equipped with their 20V MAX Battery System or their FLEXVOLT Battery System. Over 200 tools in their collection utilize the 20V MAX Battery System, which means they all operate on the same battery. Then you’ve got the a vast number of corded products since the 20V MAX is cordless, along with close to 50 tools in their new FlexVolt line, and you also have hundreds of possibilities. Tools that utilize the FLEXVOLT Battery System are even more versatile, as they can accommodate 20V, 60V, and 120V batteries as well. Long-lasting batteries and portability make these tools great for outdoor projects.

Some of our favorite cordless tools include the 20-Volt MAX XR Cordless Brushless 3-Speed 1/4 in. Impact Driver, Brushless Compact Hammer Drill, Oscillating Multi-Tool, Circular Saw, Jig Saw, Reciprocating Saw, Random Orbital Sander, Door Planer, Angle Grinder, Handheld Wet and Dry Vacuum, and of course the Cordless Jobsite AM/FM/Bluetooth Radio to keep us entertained while we are working. We’ve got lots more Yellow and Black tools in our trucks and like many contractors, you can get pretty obsessed with tools!

DeWalt is an American company that represents a worldwide brand of power tools for the construction, manufacturing, and woodworking industries. The DeWalt brand actually falls under the umbrella of Stanley Black & Decker. This parent company also owns many different brands under various companies. DeWalt was officially formed in 1923 by Raymond E. DeWalt (who invented the radial arm saw). Eventually, the company was sold to Black & Decker in 1960. Nothing too exciting happened until 2004 when Black and Decker bought Porter-Cable and combined it with DeWalt in Jackson, Tennessee. These companies can put so much money and effort into developing the perfect tools. That should lead to more robust tools that perform exactly as you want.

One thing that stands out when it comes to DeWalt is that their tools tend to be more compact in size and lighter. I feel they are easier to use when it comes to tight situations, the company tends to make things slightly more straightforward thanks to the market they deal with, and we love that about them.

DeWalt goes big on innovation and manages to incorporate new technologies into their tools which makes them easy to use. Because their technology focuses on getting better power or making a specific process much easier, they will often be the first to come out with something new on their power tools, which certainly attracts people to the brand. DeWalt products are indeed suitable for heavy-duty use and if you are a very serious DIY’er or a professional, you won’t find too much difficulty using a Dewalt tool.

And they have a pretty good warranty. With DeWalt, you have a limited three-year extended warranty with a 90-day money-back guarantee. Also, they will give you a service contract covering the first year. DeWalt includes a 3-year limited warranty on most cordless power tools with a 1-year free service contract and a 90-day money-back guarantee. DeWalt Mechanics Tools are covered by a full lifetime warranty. That means that if any DeWalt mechanics tool fails for any reason, the company will replace it—even without proof of purchase. Other DeWalt hand tools carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects. Finally, a few select DeWalt pneumatic tools carry a 7-year warranty with a 1-year service agreement and a 3-day money-back guarantee.

So, how do we wrap this up? We endorse DeWALT because they have always worked for us and as new battery technology changes.  they give you the option to still use your old tools with the new style batteries, and a company that keeps that in mind is impressive.. Remember, this is not sponsored and we’re not getting paid to say this. There is a lot of competition in the tool market today – Milwaukee, Ryobi, Makita, Hart and many more. When you find a brand that works for you, you stick with it. And for me and my company OMG! Amazing – Dewalt is that brand!
