Mendenhall Prep is a North Carolina registered homeschool with a focus on giving your unique needs student the creative teaching elements, advice, lesson plans and ideas while maintaining a fun and loving environment designed to meet the challenges children are facing today!

When it comes to miracles, Xander is the one! Born a micro-preemie, he beat all the odds and has a strong desire to learn everything he can. He challenges us everyday and there is no limit to what we do to fulfill his needs in his own way!

Kendel is the creative force behind Mendenhall Prep. A dedicated Mom who desires the best for her family and students, her energy and ability to make learning fun and creative has both parents and students excited to be here!

Our Inspiration
Grammie is the inspiration behind Mendenhall Prep. She never graduated because she stopped to help her sister take care of her children. Her love and dedication to family and helping children is the light that makes this worth it!
Practice makes perfect
We know the only way you truly understand a subject is by practicing it in a real environment. This is why we’ve set a homeschool program full of hours of exercises, questions and challenges. We use modern technology along with some good old school creativity to come up with the best ssystem of homeschooling our unique needs students. We want to create a world where chidren are accdepted for who they are and what makes them truly special!
The best campus facilities
Homeschooling kids with unique needs has to happen in a live classroom. It takes place in our modest home (we call it the campus) in Benson, North Carolina. We use the most up-to-date methods, creative curriculum and computer equipment to make a program that makes it fun for kids to learn. And isn’t that what it’s all about to make it in today’s world? We think so!.
